1. What this is

This explains what we store about you, why, and what you can do about it. It goes with our Terms and Conditions.

2. What we store

• Your account: account name, e-mail address, and your password as a hash. We never see your actual password.
• Your game: everything your account and your pimp are made of. What you own, who you play with, what you post in the shoutbox, and the tickets and screenshots you send us.
• How you play: technical records of your activity in the game, including timestamps and your IP address. We keep these to run the game and to catch cheating.
• Nothing else. No tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no analytics service. We do not buy data about you and we never sell yours.

3. Why we store it

• To run the game. Without your account and your progress there is nothing to play.
• To keep it fair. Our records are how we catch bots, scripts, and people running more than one account. It is the reason the game is playable at all.
• To reach you: the activation mail, a password reset, and an answer to your ticket.
• To keep the server up, secure, and backed up.

4. Cookies

Three, and none of them for advertising:

• One keeps you logged in. It disappears when you close your browser.
• One remembers who invited you, for 30 days.
• One holds your access to the closed beta, for as long as the beta runs.

Your browser also stores your account name locally if you tick "remember me". That never leaves your machine.

5. How long we keep it

• Our records of your activity: 60 days, then they are deleted automatically.
• Login attempts: 7 days. Registration attempts: 30 days.
• Your account: until you ask us to delete it, or until the game closes.
• Backups run every fifteen minutes and are kept on the server, so deleted data can survive a short while in a backup.

6. What other players can see

Your pimp name, your rank, your gang, your profile, and anything you type in the shoutbox. Staff can see more, including your account name behind your pimp, because that is what a support ticket or a cheating report needs. Staff never see your password.

7. Who else gets it

Our hosting provider stores the database and sends our mail on our servers. That is it. If another player puts a YouTube video in their profile, YouTube sees that you loaded it. We do not pass your data to anyone else, and we never sell it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and everything in it deleted. Open a support ticket. We answer within a month. If you are in the EU and you think we are handling this badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Security

Passwords are hashed, the site runs over HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to the people who run the game. No system is perfect, so use a password you do not use anywhere else.

10. Age

You need to be at least 18 to have an account. If we find out an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.

11. Changes

We can change this policy. A change is announced in the game and shown at the top of this page.
