1. What this is

Pimp-Area is a free browser game. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not play.

2. Your account

You need to be at least 18 years old. One person, one account. Do not share your login, do not sell or trade your account, and do not let someone else play for you. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, so keep your password to yourself.

3. Fair play

The following will get your account suspended or banned:

• Bots, scripts, macros, or any tool that plays for you.
• More than one account, or playing on someone else's account.
• Abusing a bug instead of reporting it. Finding one is fine. Farming it is not.
• Attacking, overloading, or reverse engineering the game or its servers.

Report bugs through Support. We would rather fix it than punish you for it.

4. How you behave to others

The game is rough, the players are not. No harassment, threats, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors. No real life information about other players, no advertising, no links to malware. Staff decide what crosses the line, in the shoutbox and everywhere else.

5. What you own

Nothing in the game is property. Cash, ho's, weapons, ranks, gang funds, achievements: all of it is a limited, personal, non transferable licence to use game content, and it stays ours. It has no value outside the game, cannot be sold for real money, and cannot be paid out. Trading in game items for real money is forbidden and gets both accounts banned.

6. Rounds and resets

The game runs in rounds. When a round ends, characters and progress are wiped and everyone starts over. Your account survives, your pimp does not. We can also reset, rebalance, remove, or change any part of the game, including your stats and your money, without compensation. Dying is part of the game and you will never be revived.

7. Paid features

The game is free. If and when we offer things for real money, this applies:

• Prices are in euros including VAT and are shown before you pay.
• You buy a licence to use virtual content, not the content itself. Point 5 stays true for everything you paid for.
• Delivery is immediate. By buying you ask us to deliver right away and you give up your 14 day right of withdrawal once delivery has started, which EU law allows for digital content.
• We do not refund virtual currency or items you have already used, and we do not pay out balances in real money, ever.
• Nothing you buy is guaranteed to stay in the game or to keep the same effect. We rebalance the game all the time.
• Paid currency cannot be used in Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, or Coin Flip. Those games run on in game money only.
• A chargeback closes your account until it is settled.
• If your account is banned for breaking these terms, you lose what you bought and you get nothing back.

8. Enforcement

We can warn, mute, suspend, ban, or delete any account that breaks these terms, with or without notice, and we can do it during a round. If you think we got it wrong, open a Support ticket and a human will look at it.

9. No guarantees

We run this as well as we can, but there is no promised uptime. Maintenance, downtime, data loss, and bugs happen. We can change or shut the game down at any time. If we ever close it for good, we stop selling first and give you reasonable notice to use what you have.

10. Your data

We store your account details, what you do in the game, and your IP address, to run the game and to catch cheaters. See the Privacy Policy for the full story. You can ask us to delete your account through Support.

11. Liability

We are liable only for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for anything the law does not let us exclude. Beyond that, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or nothing if you paid nothing. We are not liable for lost progress, lost items, or lost in game money.

12. Changes

We can change these terms. We announce a change in the game and at the top of this page. Keep playing after that and you accept the new version. If a change is significant and you have paid us, we ask for your agreement separately.

13. Law

Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer rules of your own country still protect you, and you can use the EU online dispute platform.
